Ghent art

I’ll be visiting Ghent in July. They have a museum featuring one of my favourite artists, Hieronymus Bosch. This guy was taking drugs. Or something wicked. What an imagination! And, oh, how I wish I had been born “Hieronymus”.

    Unfortunately they didn’t have the drugs for this guy’s disease back then. But I’ll bet that painting helped poor Hieronymus! He, his family, or maybe many of his friends, whoever inspired his portraiture, certainly must have all had thyroid issues.
